Integration patterns
for real lending systems.

Metagens connects with customer systems, external providers, and existing platforms through REST APIs, webhooks, Kafka events, batch files and SFTP—so lending workflows can integrate without forcing a rip and replacing core.

Real-time where it matters. Asynchronous where it adds scale.

How integration works

Metagens is built for real-time performance and operational resilience. We combine synchronous API calls for immediate needs with asynchronous processing for complex, long-running tasks.

Events, workers & exception handling

Metagens uses Kafka, background workers, and dead-letter queues to ensure every event is handled, retried when needed, and resolved reliably.

Events Published

Events are emitted by the platform and published to Kafka topics.

Kafka Topics

Topics are partitioned and replicated for durability and parallelism.

Workers

Workers consume events and execute business logic and processes.

Resolution

Issues are resolved, events replayed or corrected, and outcomes are recorded.

Exception Queues

Failed events are routed to dead-letter topics for safe isolation.

Retry & Backoff

Transient failures are retried with exponential backoff to maximize success.

External providers & data sources

Metagens integrates with the best providers to enrich decisions and automate verifications.

KYC / KYB & Identity

Identity verification, watchlists, and business verification.

Credit Bureaus

Credit reports and risk insights.

Device Intelligence

Device risk, fingerprinting and velocity analysis.

Networks / E-signature / Payment Platforms

Bank rails, e-sign, and payment orchestration.

Behavioral Intelligence

Behavioral signals and transaction behavior analytics.

Sanctions, PEP & Global Sources

Sanctions, PEP, adverse media, and global watchlists.

Document Verification

Account OCR and payment history analysis.

Payment boundary

Metagens supports payment-file and message processing, validation, statuses and workflows.
It does not directly submit transactions to banks, card networks, or the Federal Reserve;
final submission and settlement remain with the customer’s existing system or external provider.
